Bed+Yoga+Breakfast and yoga retreats Ibiza
Food
If you stay with us you are guaranteed a beautiful breakfast every morning and if you stay for a retreat you will experience some more vegetarian delights in the form of our evening meals. All our food is locally sourced as much as possible and healthy and nutritious without being tasteless. We try to offer alternatives to people who have serious food allergies and for people with less serous food intolerances, they will find that there is plenty of choices. You won't go hungry. Here are a few things that have been concocted for our guests.
Places to eat
We are sure you will want to travel around to explore the wonderful array of restaurants and cafes on Ibiza. It really can be to suit all tastes. The following are a few restaurants within walking distance, or a short drive of The Lotus Pad.
Can Guimo
Probably the closest restaurant to us. Run by an Argentinian man with the friendliest vibe and some reasonably priced sandwiches, coffee and cakes etc. They will make you very welcome and its an interesting spot to watch the world whizz by on the road in front. Open until around 7pm.
La Paloma Cafe
This cafe/restaurant is in the village of San Lorenzo and has some of the best food around. The sandwiches, coffees and cakes are fabulous and on offer in the day time. The evening meals are a little more formal but still a great range. Visit their website for more of an idea: www.palomaibiza.com
Es Pins
A local family restaurant with a range of meat, fish and local dishes all at reasonable prices.
Can Carune
Neil refers to this place as the "centre of the universe" as it really is a meeting point for many people in the north of Ibiza. More of a short drive towards San Juan here you will find a restaurant which serves an apparently famous paella amongst many other reasonably priced meals, and a supermarket to pick up anything you might need for the day.
Sabores Naturales
In the village of San Juan, its worth the trip to taste their mostly organic "slow" food. Pizza's, salads and cakes mostly on the menu, but its worth the drive for their amazing chai.
